XS Typing Ltd transcribes .TRM audio files supplied for court hearings and legal proceedings. Using the software associated with FTR recordings, our typists turn the spoken content into an editable Microsoft Word document.

Upload your TRM recording files

Upload the recording files through our File Upload page. If they were supplied on a disc, copy the files to your computer first. Keep the original files and any accompanying information available, and contact us if you are unsure which files form the recording.

Timestamps and legal terminology

Timestamps can be included where required to help you locate passages in the recording. Add your timestamp requirements, case references, speaker names and relevant legal terminology in the upload comments. Our original TRM service offered timestamps at file-change intervals, usually five minutes; let us know what your particular recording needs.
